Hash Mismatch on update … still

Its a decent app, but I cant give this version any more than one star because the update doesnt work! Is anybody reading this? The update doesnt load correctly. COME ON, APPLE. GET IT RIGHT OR PULL THE UPDATE OFF THE STORE! UPDATE DECEMBER 27: STILL CANT UPDATE BECAUSE OF THE ERROR, WORKAROUND DOESNT WORK. UNACCEPTABLE! UPDATE JANUARY 29: STILL CANT UPDATE BECAUSE OF THE ERROR, WORKAROUND DOESNT. GET IT FIXED, PEOPLE!

Same Hash Mismatch bull..

Whenever someone keeps passing the buck I wait even longer to make purchases and I make sure I remember who puts out the software. I was so ticked that I-not the App Store-had to go thru the trouble to correct this problem that I didnt go thru the trouble of downloading it again, waiting to see if it was even worth it. My instincts were right. My camera software does a better job. Sorry I bought it. Now, how can I remove that annoying little number one on my App Store icon in my dock? Gee, I could update it today. It took long enough.

Neat, but glitchy

Ive been shooting bracketed images with a tripod and HDR-ing them with this program. Neat results but when savign the results I get a couple patches of black in areas that should be mid-tones. It seems like the program needs a little more work.

Sloppy developer, needs some serious work

This application can generally produce acceptable HDR output, but as some have said its glitchy. There is no ability to align images-this is a very basic product. So basic in fact that the developer didnt feel it necessary to include even a simple help file, and the menus contain standard OS X items that should have been removed prior to compilation. Its simple enough to use, but it just seems sloppy.

Wont auto register well and prior manual register seems missing.

I didnt have the prior version befor 2.1 but it had decent reviews for the price. Apparently the prior version had manual image aline adjust that is now missing and there is no help file. If you have a simple well defined scene it will auto-register fairly well. On a rural scene with trees and bushes it wouldnt register the images very well which gave it a more "painted" type appearance, not what I was after. Photoshop Elements 11 did a much better job of registering and both the auto and manual modes seemed to work well. It wont boost the range as well as LC but with post processing in PSE11 you could get similar results with better registration. Actually, picking the best of bracketed shots and applying filters with Aperture was almost as satisfying.

Like This A Lot

This app doesnt have all the presets you get with something like Photomatrix, but I believe you will be much happier with this app. It is crisp and to the point, and gives HDR images a very good rendering. This is not to be dismissed or ignored. Im using an iMac with Mountain Lion and have had no issues with this app. It does everything its supposed to do and it does them well. Thats all I can ask.

If you want terrible looking, blurry HDR photos then this is your app

I take all my photos with a top-of-the-line tripod. I auto-bracket and my images are sharp as a tack. When I import my images into this app the end result is blurry, awful looking garbage. Zero stars if that were an option.

Couldn’t even open files

I couldn’t even open two photos. Oh it’s possible but its crappy file interface doesn’t make it easy. Fail, and I removed it.
